Make this stack & whack quilt with fruit & vegetable fabrics as we did to celebrate the Harvest or use any fabric style of your choice.

Free Motion Quilting Sunday September 28, 2008 1:00pm - 5:00pm $20 fee
Learn the technique of free motion quilting. Once the basics are explained its quite easy. We’ve left plenty of time for practice and individual help in this class. Your machine must have the ability to drop the feed dogs or to be covered.

Hexagons - the technique Sunday October 12, 2008 1:00pm - 5:00pm $20 fee
Hexagons are addictive! In this class we will learn the technique of english paper piecing. You will come out with the knowledge to make a quilt or tablerunner with this new skill. No machine is needed for this class.

A Star for All Seasons Sunday October 26, 2008 1:00pm - 5:00pm $20 fee
This tablerunner is the most versitile pattern to be made in years. If you want a Thanksgiving, Christmas or just everyday runner this is the pattern for you. The stars a very classic and can be made very elegantly or just plain fun!

Finish it Up! Sunday, November 9, 2008 10:00am - 4:00 pm $25 fee
Here is your chance for 6 hours of uninterrupted sewing! Start or finish one of your Christmas projects and be ahead of the game. Bring a bag lunch and sew right through. Though this is not a teaching class an instructor will be on hand for any questions.

Finish it Up! Sunday, December 7, 2008 10:00am - 4:00 pm $25 fee
Seriously now, its time to dedicate 6 full hours to getting it done. No more ‘I’ll finish it for next year’! You know that special someone is going to LOVE what you’ve made for him or her. Table and assistance will be available for sandwiching the almost done quilt. Just finish it! Bring a bag lunch and sew right through. Though this is not a teaching class an instructor will be on hand for any questions.

All classes require basic quilting knowledge unless otherwise indicated. You will need your own sewing machine (and a good working knowledge of it), rulers, rotary cutter, mat, basic sewing supplies. Space in class is secured only with payment. Tumbleweed reserves the right to cancel class if less than three students sign up,in that event your money will be refunded. Some classes require kits and/or books/patterns.
