Poetic Quilts – Marianne Millette-Kelley
Inspired by Heart to Heart New Poems (edited by Jan Greenberg, Abrams Inc. 2001) this is a day - long exercise to spur your creativity! Start with a print of a favorite painting or sculpture. Marianne will walk you through to steps it takes record your poetic thoughts and design a quilted poem masterpiece.

Scrappy Tuesday I – Carol Jones
If you saw our scrappy Tuesday exhibit in August or you just think that Scrappy quilts are wonderful but you have never taken a Scrappy class this is for you.
The class is designed to use the maximum number of fabrics in simple designs so as to make them look complicated. To take this class you only need to be able to sew a straight ? inch seam, there are no fancy set-in seams or complicated designs. This class is designed to let you use the maximum amount of color in your quilts with the minimum amount of stress.

Introduction to Machine Quilting

This class will include a discussion of tools, batting, helpful machine accessories, fabric and thread. Students will learn stitching-in-the-ditch and other straight line stitching techniques. This class can be either a process or a project class. You can practice exercises, or quilt a small quilt using several designs.

This is the perfect class to start a new project you are unsure of or get help with a technique or complete something you’re stuck on.

Strips n’ Curves – Carol Ayotte
Come design an art quilt the Strips n’ Curves method. In this class you can be a beginner doing your first Strips n’ Curves piece or you can branch out into doing a Bargello type or free form piece. Anything goes – so come have fun and enjoy the process. Try using the clam shell pattern! It makes a fascinating design.
