Snowman runner - Carol Ayotte

This is a cheerful snowman team that is iron on applique. It can be made of wool or cotton - your choice. Design available in class if pattern doesn’t arrive in time. Fun - easy - all levels.

Quilter’s Building Blocks - Adele Scott

Most quilts are made of traditional shapes which can be combined into unlimited patterns. Changing colors, contrast and placements creates the feel from modern to classic to whimsical to antique; but all might have the same building blocks!

Come for a review or maybe you’re new - With all the new products and methods available today these blocks are easier and more accurate than ever. Everyone will learn something new!

Try a block or two, work on suggested small projects or create your own custom quilt with your quilter’s “building blocks”.

Take one or all, all classes are also OPEN SEW; please let me know your project.

Friday Open Sew - Willie Fiedler

Bring a project, get some guidance, meet a new quilting friend. Come for the morning, come for the afternoon or stay all day.

Starting Friday Jan 6 10 - 4 Class fee: ½ day $8, all Day $15

 

Basic Ruler Basics or Open Sew with Ellie - Ellie Held

Learn how to make the most of basic square and rectangle rulers. Different rulers and their uses can make your cutting, block squaring, and trimming more precise, thus a better finished quilt top. OR bring your own project to work on. This class focuses on basic skills and learning new techniques, but any skill level is welcome.

Tuesday Open Sew - Willie Fiedler

Have a project and need some help and guidance? Want to meet new quilting friends? Join Willie on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday afternoon of the month.

Sew with Nancy - Nancy Harmon

Back to basics! Create a simple pinwheel quilt and/or open sew. Learn an easy marking system for making half- square triangles and different methods to finish your quilt. Start with a baby quilt and graduate to larger sizes.

Paper Pierced Landscape - Carol Ayotte

If you want to learn to paper pierce this is a fun & easy way. Pattern is in 2 sizes to choose from and will be given to you in class.

Sew with Nancy - Nancy Harmon

Another basic quilt - Log Cabin! Learn an easy strip method to create a beautiful quilt. Also an open sew project time, bring your own project. Log Cabin pattern based on Quilt-in-a-day log cabin book. Advance sewers can make a “wonky” log cabin using strips and a special ruler.

Missouri Star Sparkle Quilt #1 or Open Sew with Ellie - Ellie Held

Some spring and summer days can be cool, so why not have a quilt that matches the seasons. This 78” x 83” is made with 3 packages of 5” squares, or your scraps, and background fabric. Jenny Doan from Missouri Star Quilt Company makes it easy. OR bring your own project to work on. This class focuses on basic skills and learning new techniques, but any skill level is welcome.

Urban Owls - Willie Fiedler

A second class has been added to the Urban Owl class. This quilt has applique, paper piecing as well as pieced blocks. If interested, sign up as space is limited.

Open Sew or Confused by Fusibles – Ruth Wilcox

Demo of fusibles, pressing sheets and iron usage with handouts.

Mermaid Class (small) - Carol Ayotte

The mermaid is 8” long. She can hang or sit (lay) on a shelf. Sample in store. Pattern available free in class.

Join March Madness! Grab your favorite jelly roll and do the Jelly Roll Race aka “Mile a Minute” quilt. A fun time sewing with fantastic results!! Also an open sew project class - bring you r own project.

This class will focus on block layout and sewing rows together, finishing your Sparkle Quilt top. OR bring your own project to work on. This class focuses on basic skills and learning new techniques, but any skill level is welcome.

Bobbin Work (Machine) & Couching - Ruth Wilcox

Learn to use thick thread and thin silk ribbon in the bobbin, sewn from the back of the work. Also, zig over heavier cords on the right side of the work.

Seascape Wall Hanging - Carol Ayotte

Bring a photo of a seaside scene you love and use it to translate it into fabric. A fun, easy and rewarding class.

Create an Easter or Springtime tablerunner using any of the Pierce Tree tiny patterns. Easy sewing for a great table topper! Also open sew - bring your own project.

Sandwiching Quilts or Open Sew with Ellie - Ellie Held

Hooray! Your quilt top is completed, or maybe you have one that was done a while ago. Come learn how to sandwich your top by pinning the layers together. We will talk about different quilting options. OR bring your own project to work on. This class focuses on basic skills and learning new techniques, any skill level is welcome.

Apr 9 12 - 4 Class fee $10

 


Class Policy You must sign up for a class in advance unless otherwise stated. Full payment is required at the time of sign-up. There will be NO REFUNDS OR CREDITS FOR CLASSES unless the class is canceled by Tumbleweed or if we are able to fill your space, or if you cancel more than 10 days before the first class.
